WSET Awards & Graduation Ceremony 2011 - January 17th The 2011 event was held at the impressive Guildhall in London, celebrating the achievements of the 50 top performing candidates and diploma graduates from 2009/10. During the evening, which is the “oscars” of wine and spirit education, scholarship winners receive their awards and meet their sponsors.
The award for the top 2011 Diploma graduate went to Charlotte Edgecombe, who received the Vintners' Cup. Next years ceremony with again take place at the Guildhall, London on the January 2012. Click here for a full list of winners Most of the scholarships are organised visits to wine or spirit producing areas, or travel bursaries to allow the winners to organise their own trips, thus helping to broaden their experience and further their careers.
